Job summary

ICON plc, a leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is seeking a Senior Manager, Regional HR Operations for Ireland and the UK. This hybrid Dublin-based role leads a team of HR managers delivering operational HR support to ~4,000 colleagues across two countries.

Qualifications

• Significant HR Operations or HR business partnering experience in a large, multinational organization.
• Experience leading and developing teams, including HR Managers.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR practices.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive change.
• Expertise in using HR data, metrics, and analytics to improve service delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HR Managers across Ireland and the UK delivering operational HR support.
• Oversee onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and workforce planning.
• Partner with business leaders to align HR solutions with organisational priorities.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies in Ireland and the UK.
• Guide complex employee relations matters, investigations, and organizational change initiatives.
• Monitor HR metrics and service performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, Reward, and Payroll to ensure seamless service.
• Support business transformation initiatives and organisational design.
• Foster accountability, high performance, and customer-focused HR service delivery.
