Job summary

Alstom is seeking a Project Procurement Manager to join its team in Cork, Ireland. You will be a core member of the bid team, shaping sourcing decisions across direct and indirect categories for major opportunities including high profile projects.

You will manage procurement commitments, build networks with Tender and Project organisations, and ensure the make/buy decisions are properly formalised with all departments. Travel within Ireland and the UK is required.

Qualifications

• High-level experience in sourcing/procurement for goods and services.
• Operational experience in sourcing, engineering, or commercial projects.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal - English).
• Contract management and legal awareness.
• Certification in procurement or commercial management (desirable).
• Technical knowledge of signalling systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate sourcing activities for tenders and projects.
• Develop networks with Tender & Project teams to anticipate sourcing needs.
• Define tender procurement strategy aligned with Sourcing Commodities Strategy.
• Interface between Sourcing and Project Owners (Engineering, Materials, Installation).
