Tetra Tech is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for rail projects across the UK and Republic of Ireland. You will support planning, governance, reporting and risk management, coordinating with engineering, planning and commercial teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.

As you develop, you will take on defined tasks, assist with fee proposals and lessons‑learned activities, and contribute to professional development while supporting major rail programmes.

Formación

• Experience supporting projects in rail, transport, infrastructure, engineering or construction.
• Placements, internships or graduate experience in a relevant project or technical environment will be considered.
• Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to maintaining accurate project records.
• Confidence using project schedules, spreadsheets and collaborative document management systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple technical and project delivery teams.
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Support project planning, governance, reporting, risk and issue management, document control and stakeholder coordination.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, planning, environmental, commercial and construction teams, ensuring information is complete, accurate and issued on time.
• Prepare concise progress reports, forecasts and client presentation materials; record decisions and follow up actions.
• Support change control, approvals, procurement activities and project governance processes.
• Take responsibility for defined tasks and smaller commissions as experience grows.
