Hollybank Trustees Ltd seeks a Quality Engineer to support BMD Quality Management Systems and client specifications. You will drive Right First Time delivery, coordinate welding, NDT and pressure testing, and ensure all personnel are trained to pipe class requirements.

Responsibilities include audits, materials inspection, records management, and final QC checks. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in this fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Desirable for applicant to have degree in Quality Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Understanding of welding technology and technical engineering codes/standards.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008.
• Strong communicator, written and verbal.
• Diligent with high attention to detail.
• Personable and a team player.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Hard working and logically minded.
• Accountable and highly organised with ownership of tasks.
• Decisive, able to make decisions with incomplete information.

Responsabilités

• Ensure the Project Quality Management System is fully implemented.
• Promote a Right First Time/Defect Free Delivery culture for zero defects.
• Ensure personnel are trained to tasks in compliance with pipe classes.
• Perform Internal and External Quality Audits.
• Coordinate welding, NDT, and pressure testing processes.
• Monitor material receipt inspection and quality records.
• Manage weld coupons, welder qualifications, NDT reports and test packs.
• Inspect daily weld coupons and ensure records are in order.
• Oversee daily production inspections and turnover handover packages.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
