Job summary

BMD & Co Ltd is actively seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Management System and client specifications. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will implement the Project Quality Management System, promote a Right First Time culture and coordinate welding, NDT, and pressure testing activities on site.

You will manage quality records, coordinate audits, review NDT reports and ensure welding qualifications are up to date.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quality/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of welding technology and engineering codes/standards.
• Understanding of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Project Quality Management System.
• Promote Right First Time, defect-free delivery culture for zero defects goals.
• Coordinate welding, NDT and pressure testing.
• Perform quality audits (internal and external).
• Manage quality records, welders qualifications, NDT reports and calibration records.
• Review NDT reports for accuracy to standards.
