Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support to the construction team, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of mechanical systems in line with project specs and regulatory requirements. You will plan, coordinate and oversee mechanical works, liaising with workshops, subcontractors and clients to ensure handover and QA/QC compliance.

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction and 2+ years’ relevant experience are required, with NavisWorks and

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or equivalent.
• Proficient in Word, Excel.
• Navis Works experience and MSIC desirable.
• Min 2 years relevant work placement as mechanical or project engineer.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee mechanical works to meet project specs and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with workshops, subcontractors and clients to ensure cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Prepare scope documentation and subcontracts specifications (painting, scaffolding, insulation, HVAC).
• Review designs for constructability and manage site changes/variations.
• Assist Construction Manager with project status reporting and QA/QC documentation.
