BMD & Co Ltd is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Management System and client specifications. You will drive Right First Time delivery, supervise welding, NDT and pressure testing, and ensure records and QA documentation are accurate for project handover.

Ideal candidates will have a quality/mechanical engineering background, welding and NDT knowledge, and experience with ISO 9001:2008 compliant processes.

Formación

• Desirable degree in Quality/Mechanical Engineering.
• Understanding welding technology and relevant engineering standards.
• CSWIP Welding Inspection qualification desirable.
• NDT PCN/SNT qualification desirable.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and quality management.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the Project Quality Management System is fully implemented.
• Promote a Right First Time/Defect Free Delivery culture for project goals.
• Co-ordinate welding, NDT and pressure testing activities.
• Inspect daily weld coupons and maintain records.
• Manage quality documentation: records, welders, NDT reports and test packs.
• Liaise with client representatives for inspections and tests.
• Oversee handover of system packages and turnover packs.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
