Job summary

Orchard Fostering, part of Orchard Care Group, Dublin, seeks a Quality Assurance Coordinator. The role focuses on managing the Quality Management System to ensure safe, compliant care for carers and young people.

The ideal candidate has a third level qualification in health, social care or quality management, plus experience implementing a QA system in care settings. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in health, social care or quality management.
• Experience implementing a quality system in a care & support environment.
• Good knowledge of risk management and incident management & review.
• Knowledge of regulation, standards and inspections.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality systems in the fostering service to ensure compliance with regulations and best outcomes.
• Participate in the audit schedule and provide detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Collect, analyse and monitor QA data and KPIs; present trends at monthly quality committee.
• Produce the monthly quality report and prepare for the Quality Committee meeting.
• Support revision of policies and maintain the document control spreadsheet.
• Gather feedback from carers and young people; promote continuous quality improvement.
• Organise annual training schedule and maintain training databases for carers and staff.
