Job summary

E‑Frontiers in Dublin is seeking an experienced QA Lead / Test Lead to own quality across ATM, payments and self-service banking solutions. This hands-on leadership role focuses on ATM/device testing, end-to-end transaction journeys and QA across complex banking systems.

You will work with developers, BAs, vendors and project teams to plan and deliver testing across multiple initiatives, lead defect management and ensure adherence to QA standards. Hybrid arrangement with initial onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Lead, Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst.
• Hands-on ATM/device testing experience, ideally with ATM simulators.
• Experience testing complex applications integrated with multiple systems and legacy back-end platforms.
• Knowledge of test planning, execution, defect management and QA methodologies.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Experience within banking, payments or financial services.
• Understanding of the SDLC and software testing methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA and testing activities across projects, regulatory initiatives and system changes.
• Review business requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test deliverables.
• Plan, coordinate and execute end-to-end testing of ATM hardware and software.
• Test key ATM and customer transaction journeys including cash withdrawals, deposits and balance enquiries.
• Manage testing across test and pre-production environments.
• Conduct exploratory, functional and regression testing.
• Lead defect management, including prioritisation, investigation and stakeholder communication.
• Work closely with developers, BAs, vendors and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain test documentation, test artefacts and regression test packs.
• Support performance and non-functional testing activities where required.
• Identify, manage and escalation testing risks, dependencies and issues.
• Ensure testing activities follow established QA standards, processes and best practices.

Day Rate: €420 per day

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead / Test Lead to join a major financial services technology environment, with responsibility for ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of ATM, card payments and self-service banking solutions.

This is a hands-on QA leadership role with a particular focus on ATM/device testing, end-to-end transaction journeys and quality assurance across complex banking systems. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, vendors and project teams to plan and deliver testing across multiple initiatives.

• Experience with legacy ATM and card transaction processing platforms.
• Knowledge of ATM networks and card payment processing.

• Experience working with complex legacy banking applications.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• ISTQB certification would be advantageous.
