Location: South Dublin (Hybrid - three days per week on-site)
Contract Type: Initial 6–18 Month Daily Rate Contract
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-sufficient QA Test Analyst to join a leading client based in South Dublin. In this role, you will take ownership of verifying, testing, and analyzing critical financial and regulatory reporting solutions.
This is an ideal daily rate contract for a proactive tester with strong expertise in ETL testing, heavy SQL querying, and end-to-end data validation who wants to work in a modern environment utilizing automation and AI-assisted tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Test Ownership: Drive test planning, script creation, RTM preparation, and execution across the full project lifecycle.
- Data & ETL Verification: Perform deep-dive E2E ETL testing, data migration/conversion testing, and data quality validation.
- Release & Defect Management: Manage the QA release cycle end-to-end, logging and tracking defects through to resolution.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, Test Leads, Production Support, and Change Management teams in an Agile SDLC.
- Modern QA Tooling: Utilize enterprise test management tools (e.g., Octane) and incorporate modern automation/GenAI tools into your daily workflow.
Core Requirements
- 5+ years in QA / Testing with a strong, hands-on background in Quality Control (QC).
- Advanced SQL: Very strong SQL query writing skills for deep data verification and analysis.
- Data QA Expertise: Deep experience in E2E ETL testing, data migration, and data conversion.
- SDLC Methodologies: Thorough understanding of End-to-End testing cycles across Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Technical Fundamentals: Practical familiarity with basic Unix commands.
- Mindset: A proactive, preventative approach to QA rather than a reactive one.
- Banking / Finance Domain: Exposure to financial services, risk, or regulatory reporting projects.
- Test Automation: Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks (preferably Playwright or Tosca).
- GenAI Tooling: Familiarity using Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to assist with test case generation or automation scripts.
- Test Tools: Exposure to Octane or similar test management platforms.
