Job summary

Primus Connect is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to join a digital technology team delivering customer-facing software products. You’ll work across manual and automated testing, establishing QA processes and increasing test automation across digital applications.

Job description

We’re looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to join a digital technology team delivering customer-facing software products.

You’ll work across both manual and automated testing, helping establish effective QA processes while increasing automated test coverage across a suite of digital applications. You'll work closely with developers, designers and business stakeholders throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

• Perform manual testing and identify opportunities for future automation.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years' commercial software QA/testing experience.
• Strong experience across manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework or JUnit.
• API testing experience using Postman, SoapUI or similar.
• Experience with defect and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail or Zephyr.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git/GitHub workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, Lighthouse or LoadRunner would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Initial term: 6 months

Location: Dublin

Working model: Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week

There may occasionally be a requirement to support critical project phases outside normal working hours.
