Job summary

CMS Distribution in Ireland seeks a Purchasing Support & Inventory role to assist the team with administrative tasks within the purchasing process and help maintain inventory levels.

The role involves processing POs in SAP, communicating with vendors, coordinating pricing and stock, ensuring correct incoterms, and maintaining master data. Strong Excel, SAP or Qlik experience and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP ERP for processing purchase orders.
• Understanding of pricing and stock availability in purchasing.
• Knowledge of incoterms and supplier procedures.
• Good Excel skills; SAP and Qlik experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders to vendors using SAP ERP with accuracy.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure swift PO fulfilment.
• Liaise with stakeholders on pricing and stock availability.
• Ensure financial charges and incoterms meet requirements.
• Support maintaining accurate master data and pricing.
• Respond to queries on the shared inbox in Teamwork Desk within agreed timelines.
• Process stock transfers between CMS plants and liaise with warehouses.
