Salesforce.com, inc. in Ireland is seeking Business Development Representatives for Public Sector or .ORG to generate new business and whitespace pipeline through outbound prospecting. You will focus on Public Sector and .ORG verticals, helping governments and non-profits modernise services and maximise impact.

You will join a fast-paced team with varied customers and receive targeted training to build a successful sales career at Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and an additional language are required for this role.
• Experience in business development, sales, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across different parts of the organisation.
• Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling.
• Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and quota.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities across Public Sector OR .org accounts.
• Manage inbound leads driven by outbound effort.
• Nurture early-stage opportunities within government, local authority, non-profit, and education accounts.
• Gain interest through outbound cold calling across Salesforce customers and new logos in your territory.
• Partner with core sellers to identify and source net new pipeline by researching lines of business, personas, and organisational structures in public/non-profit sectors.
• Align with internal account teams across Public Sector OR .ORG units.
• Identify key decision makers and budget holders within new accounts, navigating procurement processes.
