Job summary

Salesforce is seeking Business Development Representatives for Public Sector or .ORG at the European Headquarters in Dublin. You will focus on generating new business and whitespace pipeline through proactive outbound outreach, targeting government bodies, NGOs, and education institutions.

You’ll join a fast-paced team, receive extensive training, and contribute to Salesforce’s mission-driven work in digital transformation for public and nonprofit sectors.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and an additional language is required.
• Experience in business development, sales, or related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across many parts of the organisation to get things done.
• Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of new and existing accounts.
• Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and quota attainment.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities across Public Sector OR .org accounts.
• Handle inbound leads driven by outbound efforts.
• Nurture early-stage opportunities within government, non-profit, and education accounts.
• Gain interest through outbound cold calls across a set of existing Salesforce customers and new logos in your territory.
• Partner with core sellers to identify and source net new pipeline, researching lines of business and organiational structures within the public and social sectors.
• Align with internal account teams across the Public Sector OR .ORG units.
