Job summary

Turmec Teoranta Ltd is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead turnkey recycling plant projects across Ireland, the UK, Australia and international markets. You will manage the full lifecycle from inception to handover, ensuring safety, quality and on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will oversee planning, scheduling, resourcing, site management, subcontractors and client communications, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex engineering projects.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more of experience in Project Management, Site Supervision, or Construction Management.
• Proven experience delivering complex engineering or industrial projects.
• Engineering qualification desirable (mechanical, civil or related).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Confident communicator with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Self-motivated, independent and collaborative work style.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Typical working week: Monday – Friday.
• 21 days annual leave with additional long service days.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project delivery, including planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, budgets and resource allocation.
• Coordinate internal project teams and external subcontractors across sites.
• Support Site Managers to ensure on-site safety, quality and schedule targets.
• Lead regular site progress meetings and provide progress reports.
• Manage contract variations and invoicing in line with company procedures.
• Maintain ongoing client engagement to meet and exceed expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and finance teams.
• Travel to project sites as required to support execution.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in the delivery of turnkey recycling plant solutions. The successful candidate will manage both small and large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK, Australia, and international markets. This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front in a dynamic, innovative industry.As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle - from inception through to client handover - ensuring high-quality delivery, on time and within budget. You will manage project planning, scheduling, resourcing, site management, subcontractors, and client communication with an unwavering focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project delivery, including planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Managing numerous projects in terms of specifications, planning, deployment and close out
• Lead and coordinate internal project teams and external subcontractors across multiple sites.
• Manage and support Site Managers to ensure on-site execution meets safety, quality, and schedule targets.
• Organise and lead regular site progress meetings to monitor and record progress, providing detailed progress reports, to ensure projects are delivered on time
• Ensure all contract variations are accounted for and claimed in line with company procedures
• Maintain continuous engagement with clients to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, and finance.
• Prepare and manage invoicing schedules and project‑related documentation.
• Travel to project sites as required to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.

Key Attributes

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Project Management, Site Supervision, or Construction Management.
• Proven experience delivering complex engineering or industrial projects.
• A recognised engineering qualification desirable (mechanical, civil, or related discipline).
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively across multiple projects.
• Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills; able to engage effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure.
• Proficient in project documentation and administration.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
