Job summary

Design Build Search in Dublin is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations and collaborate with the Construction Director to deliver projects safely, sustainably, and to a high standard.

The role focuses on leadership across design and construction teams, mentoring graduates toward chartered status, and driving BIM-enabled, digital construction practices on residential developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in Construction Management including project management.
• Experience on residential projects is required.
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read and manage contractual requirements and reports.

Responsibilities

• Act as Design Task Leader or Project Manager on live jobs.
• Manage the design process and oversee construction execution per works specs.
• Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Line manage engineers and project staff; mentor juniors toward chartered status.
• Develop proposals for new commissions.

Job description

Design Build Search are working with a leading developer in Dublin. Due to ongoing works and a strong pipeline, they have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager. The successful applicant will oversee the day to day running of the site. Within this position you will work closely with the Construction Director to ensure their projects are delivered highest standard, emphasising safety, sustainability and quality.

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Construction Management including previous project management experience
• Previous experience on residential projects
• Self-motivated with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read, understand and create contractual requirements, scope objectives and report effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Excellent leadership skills and Be able to Demonstrate Mentoring Experience of Junior Teams
• Be able to Demonstrate Understanding of BIM and Digital Construction Technologies
• Highly Proficient IT Skills & be able to demonstrate Innovation Skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff and sub-contractors.
