My client is a leading residential development company with a proven track record of delivering high-quality homes across South Dublin and Wicklow. Due to their ongoing growth and with several projects in the pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of residential development projects from inception to completion. The role will involve direct management of the company’s own build sites, as well as oversight and coordination of projects where an external Project Manager is appointed.

Duties:

• Managing project timelines, budgets, resources and overall project delivery.
• Creating, developing and maintaining detailed build programmes using Microsoft Project, ensuring programmes are regularly updated and monitored against project milestones.
• Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to programme.
• Acting as the company’s key point of contact for direct-build sites, overseeing day-to-day project delivery and ensuring the company’s requirements are being met.
• Assisting with the management and oversight of external Project Managers leading sites, ensuring appropriate reporting, programme management, cost control and project governance.
• Leading and coordinating Design Team meetings, ensuring actions, design deliverables, approvals and project milestones are clearly tracked and progressed.
• Coordinating the design and construction teams to ensure projects move efficiently from design through to construction and completion.
• Monitoring construction progress and performance against agreed programmes, budgets and quality standards.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations, quality standards, planning requirements, and health and safety requirements.
• Identifying, managing and resolving project risks, issues and constraints.
• Managing project logistics, procurement and delivery of materials and services where required.
• Preparation of regular project reports for stakeholders and senior management.
• Providing accurate project updates and supporting decision-making for senior leadership.
• Liaising with external consultants, contractors, local authorities and other project stakeholders.
• Supporting the successful handover and completion of projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in residential development or construction project management, ideally within a developer environment.
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining construction/build programmes, with proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Experience coordinating and leading Design Team meetings, with the ability to drive actions and deliverables.
• Experience managing or overseeing external Project Managers, consultants and contractors.
• Experience acting as the client/developer representative on construction projects.
• Knowledge of inspection processes and quality control practices on construction or development sites.
• Logistics Management skills to oversee supply chains, site deliveries and inventory related to project activities.
• Proficiency in project management software and standard office productivity tools.
• Relevant degree or qualification in construction management, engineering, project management or a related field.
• Familiarity with Irish building regulations, health and safety standards and local planning processes is an advantage.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to project sites.

Salary:

• Salary circa €85k – €95k DOE
