Job summary

Elite Talent Hub is recruiting a Project Manager / CAD Designer for the Edenderry site. You will manage projects from initial design through to production and installation, combining management with hands-on CAD work in a bespoke joinery/interiors environment.

The role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget, with strong collaboration across production, installation, and commercial teams. Hybrid work arrangement with 4 days in the Edenderry office and 1 day from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Management, CAD Design or a similar role.
• Experience within bespoke joinery, furniture, interiors or commercial fit-out.
• Strong in AutoCAD and comfortable producing detailed technical/production drawings.
• Able to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Identify technical issues, design clashes and potential buildability problems.

Elite Talent Hub is recruiting on behalf of a leading joinery and interiors client based in Edenderry.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / CAD Designer to join the team and take responsibility for managing projects from initial design and technical development through to production and installation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in bespoke joinery, cabinetry, interiors, architectural design or fit-out, who enjoys combining project management with hands‑on CAD/design work.

The Role

Working closely with the commercial, production and installation teams, you will manage projects through the various stages of design, coordination, manufacture and delivery.

You will act as a key link between clients, architects, designers, suppliers, CAD, manufacturing and installation teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial brief through design, production and installation.

• Develop and review detailed CAD drawings and production drawings.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications and project documentation.

• Identify technical issues, design clashes and potential buildability problems.

• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

• Attend site meetings, project meetings and carry out site surveys where required.

• Coordinate drawing revisions, approvals and technical information.

• Ensure manufacturing information is complete, accurate and issued on time.

• Work closely with production to ensure designs are practical and achievable.

• Provide technical support throughout the manufacturing process.

• Resolve design and production queries quickly and effectively.

• Coordinate procurement, materials and specialist components where required.

• Monitor project progress, deadlines and outstanding actions.

• Support installation teams and attend sites when necessary.

• Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure smooth project handovers.

• Work closely with the commercial team to ensure projects remain commercially viable.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in Project Management, CAD Design, Technical Design or a similar role.

• Ideally experienced within bespoke joinery, furniture, interiors or commercial fit-out.

• Strong in AutoCAD and comfortable producing detailed technical/production drawings.

• Able to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.

• Organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• A confident communicator who can deal with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

• Practical and solutions-focused.

• Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy project environment.

• Full clean driving licence.

• Salary up to €55,000 depending on experience
