Job summary

Elk Recruitment in Cork is seeking a DesignProject Lead to join our client’s growing team based in Little Island, Cork. This permanent, full‑time role offers hybrid work with travel to Cork office and Europe. Salary up to €70,000 depending on experience.

You will liaise with clients, produce CAD, Revit and BIM drawings, lead project delivery, check material feasibilities, present working drawings for tender and installation, and create documentation aligned with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing design background is beneficial.
• Previous experience client facing and leading projects.
• Supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Relevant qualification.
• Experience with BIM is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients and keeping them up to date on projects.
• Preparing Drawings using CAD, Revit and BIM.
• Creating high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and making modifications to existing drawings.
• Checking feasibilities of materials and designs to ensure manufacturing and construction of the product is done smoothly and safely.
• Presenting working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction and installation
• Producing installation and manufacturing documentation aligning with company procedures
