Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the daily management of construction sites, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with stakeholders and lead site teams, addressing challenges and adapting to scope changes to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level education or trade qualifications.
• Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of one or more construction sites, ensuring adherence to company processes.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to high HSE, environmental and quality standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, clients and team members; lead and motivate site teams.

About Your New Job

• As the Site Manager, you will oversee the daily management of either a large construction site or multiple smaller sites, implementing company processes and procedures.
• You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
• You will coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and team members, lead and motivate teams, and take responsibility for the overall management of one or more sites.
• For complex or multi-sectional projects, you will either work as part of a broader on-site team or act as the senior leader in charge.
• You will proactively address on-site challenges, resolve issues, and adapt to changing project scope and conditions.

What Skills You Need

• Relevant third-level education or trade qualifications.
• Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Skills in planning, organising, and executing projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
• Experience implementing Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office.
