Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team in Ireland. You will manage the financial lifecycle of a project portfolio, including setup, invoicing and close-out in line with contractual requirements and internal controls.

You will work with Project Managers and Finance colleagues to provide insights on revenue, costs, WIP and collections, while supporting the Financial Controller on broader finance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in project accounting within a professional services or engineering environment.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an assigned portfolio of projects, ensuring accurate setup, transactions, budgets, billing rates and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate preparation and issue of client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliant documentation.
• Provide financial support on subcontractor tracking, progress reporting and ad hoc project finance requirements.
• Maintain project administration across lifecycle, including budget changes and rate table maintenance.
