Stantec is seeking a Project Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team in Ireland. You will manage the financial lifecycle of a project portfolio, including setup, invoicing and close-out in line with contractual requirements and internal controls.
You will work with Project Managers and Finance colleagues to provide insights on revenue, costs, WIP and collections, while supporting the Financial Controller on broader finance activities.
We are seeking a Project Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team in Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall financial management of an assigned portfolio of projects throughout their life cycle, ensuring projects are accurately set up, maintained, invoiced and closed out in accordance with contractual requirements and Stantec’s financial controls, policies and practices. Working closely with Project Managers, Project Manager Assistants and Finance colleagues, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity and performance of projects. You will provide financial insight and support to project teams, helping them understand project performance, revenue and cost recognition, billing, work in progress and accounts receivable. The role will also support the Financial Controller with a range of finance and accounting activities, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your project accounting experience within a global engineering and professional services organisation.
