Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Water Sector team in Ireland, with a base in Dublin or Galway. You will support delivery of multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects for public and private clients, working with project managers, engineers, contractors and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities include assisting with planning, scheduling, budgets, milestones and risk management, while ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, project coordination, or engineering within water/utilities or wider infrastructure sectors.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Organised, proactive and able to coordinate tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning and scheduling, tracking budgets and milestones.
• Support risk management activities and ensure safety, quality and environmental standards are met.
• Engage with clients and delivery partners to maintain a positive client experience across the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to programmes delivered within a PMO or directly within client teams.
