Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is recruiting for a Head of Projects in Ireland. This senior leadership role oversees project delivery, P&L, team leadership and business development across Ireland.

You will lead a team of Project Managers and drive profitable, on‑time delivery while expanding the project pipeline and securing new business. The role requires strong client management, negotiation and communication skills, plus experience in FM, construction or critical environments.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience within FM, construction or critical environments.
• Experience leading and developing Project Managers.
• Strong commercial/financial experience, ideally including P&L responsibility.
• Proven experience winning new business and managing bids/tenders.

Our client is a global leader in real estate, facilities management and workplace solutions, working with some of the world's largest organisations.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Head of Projects to lead and grow their projects function across Ireland.

About Your New Role

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for project delivery, P&L, team leadership and business development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers.

• Facilities and lifecycle projects
• Capital works programmes

What You Will Need

• Strong project management experience within, FM, construction or critical environments.
• Experience leading and developing Project Managers.
• Strong commercial/financial experience, ideally including P&L responsibility.
• Proven experience winning new business and managing bids/tenders.
• Excellent client management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Relevant technical/project management qualifications are advantageous.
