Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is partnering with a leading Irish construction contractor to appoint an experienced Project Manager for a large-scale school development in Rathcoole, Dublin. The role will oversee delivery, coordinating with the Contracts Manager, site team, design team, subcontractors and client to ensure successful project completion.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of PM experience within construction, a related degree, and strong leadership and planning abilities to drive on-time,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager role within construction.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning ability.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts and H&S.

Responsibilities

• Managing the project from commencement through to completion.
• Leading and coordinating the project team.
• Managing programme, quality, costs and health & safety.
• Liaising with the client, consultants and subcontractors.
• Managing procurement and subcontractor performance.
• Monitoring project progress against programme.
• Managing project documentation and reporting.
• Ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Our client is a leading Irish construction contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering major projects across Ireland.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a large-scale school development in Rathcoole, Dublin.

About Your New Job

As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, working closely with the Contracts Manager, Site Management team, design team, subcontractors and client.

Your responsibilities will include:
