Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) and direct supervision of the Senior Protection Associate, the Project Associate – Transition Support will be responsible and accountable supporting the requirements of the project by assisting Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTPs) in IOM Ireland. This role will focus on supporting BOTPs through periods of transition by providing accurate information, guidance and individualised assistance tailored to their circumstances. The role will also support beneficiaries to understand available options, access relevant services and address barriers affecting their pathway towards greater independence and stability. The role will include other programme‑related responsibilities as required.

All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish). For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is desirable. Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
