Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School and Holiday Clubs at school sites, with on-site programmes designed for national-aged children. The role involves managing day-to-day activities, engaging with children and families, and leading a team with energy and enthusiasm.

Proven experience with school-aged children is preferred, along with a childcare qualification, English proficiency, Garda vetting, and references.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsibilities

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team
• Own car required for programme lead
• Maintain the day-to-day activities
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
