Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a Programme Lead to manage and lead a team across our before/after school and holiday clubs in Ireland. The role operates on-site at schools with 8:00-9:00 and 14:00-18:00 shifts, and is offered as maternity cover.

You will work with school-aged children, coordinate daily activities, engage families, and contribute to a safe, energetic learning environment. A childcare qualification and Garda Vetting are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team.
• Own car required for programme lead.
• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year).
