Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Club programmes at primary schools. This part‑time role involves supervising children, helping with homework, and leading indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, inclusive environment.

Required: experience with school-aged children (min 1 year), English proficiency, Garda vetting (to be completed after interview), two written references, and own transport. Shift: 1:40 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
