Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a Programme Lead to manage and empower a team delivering after school and holiday clubs in partner schools. The role requires energy, strong communication, and experience with school-aged children. You will coordinate day-to-day activities, liaise with families and staff, and ensure safe, engaging activities across sites. Own car is preferable.

Hours: 28 hours 15 minutes weekly, 8:00-9:00 and 13:45-18:00, with admin time.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team.
• Own car required for programme lead.
• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year).
