Job summary

Sherpa Kids is recruiting a friendly, energetic team member to supervise school-aged children after school hours in Ireland. You will help with homework, run planned indoor and outdoor activities, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

Requirements include at least 1 year of experience with children, basic knowledge of child development, fluent English (spoken and written), Garda vetting, work permit/VISA, and two written references. Working hours are Monday to Friday 1:30pm–6:00pm.

  • Basic knowledge of child development.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Job Description
  • Supervise children during activities and free play
  • Assist with homework and educational tasks
  • Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
  • Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
  • Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
  • Basic knowledge of child development
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
  • Work Permit/ VISA essential
  • At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
  • Working Hours Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 6pm
