Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking caring staff for before and after school clubs. Responsibilities include supervising children during activities, helping with homework, and leading indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, inclusive environment.

The role requires energy, a minimum 1 year experience with school-aged children, Garda vetting, work permit/visa, and two written references. Morning and after-school shifts are available, with on-site roles at partner schools.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Multiple roles and working hours:

• Monday to Friday 7.50am to 8.50am and 1.20pm to 6pm
• Monday to Thursday 2.20-5.30
