Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking a lively Childcare Assistant to supervise children during activities, help with homework, and lead engaging indoor and outdoor sessions. You will contribute to a safe, inclusive environment while supporting children's development.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience with school‑aged children, basic knowledge of child development, fluent English, Garda vetting, a valid work permit/VISA, and two references.

Qualifications

• Experience with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

• Supervise children during activities and free play.

• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting
