Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Naas, Ireland, is seeking caring assistants for before/after school programmes. You will supervise children, assist with homework, and participate in a variety of planned activities each day. The role requires energy, enthusiasm, and ability to engage in both indoor and outdoor activities.

Hours are from 8am to 9am and 1:30pm to 6:00pm. Garda vetting is completed after interview, and work permit/Visa may be required depending on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting to be completed after interview.

Job Description

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engaging in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• Work Permit/ VISA essential
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Working hours: 8am to 9am and 1:30pm to 6:00pm
