Job summary

Morgan McKinley is recruiting for a Production Shift Lead at a Waterford site on behalf of a leading Irish food manufacturer. You will have daily responsibility for frontline leadership across production and related departments, delivering KPIs while guiding a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will implement production plans, drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality manufacturing with close attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in production team lead/supervisor roles, ideally 2+ years managing people.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Strong track record of Lean/Continuous Improvement practices.
• Proven planning and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively lead and manage staff, ensuring efficient daily production and dispatch processes.
• Implement production plans as set by/alongside the Production Manager.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
