Job summary

Abbott Kilkenny is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to ensure production targets and schedules are met within their Kilkenny site. You will drive continuous improvement and lean practices, while managing shifts’ performance in safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost.

You will lead operators and technicians, coach staff, and nurture a high‑performance team with strong morale and engagement. This role requires a proactive, hands‑on leader committed to Abbott’s quality culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 NFQ qualification.
• 3+ years of experience in developing a team.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility with production staff and communicate daily.
• Develop a high‑performance team with strong morale and performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices.
• Coach and provide performance feedback to staff.
• Ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost targets.
