The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day production, leading teams, driving performance and ensuring operations run efficiently across safety, quality, output and delivery.

We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who enjoy being visible on the production floor, can build strong relationships with their teams and have the confidence to manage performance, address challenges and implement improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop production teams, creating a culture of accountability, teamwork and high performance.
  • Take full ownership of daily production operations, ensuring output, quality, safety and delivery targets are achieved.
  • Manage team performance, address people-related challenges and support employee development.
  • Oversee production planning, scheduling, workflow and resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
  • Monitor production KPIs, track performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Work closely with senior management and other departments to ensure production priorities are delivered.
  • Drive continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality.
About You
  • Strong experience within a construction-related manufacturing environment, such as building products, joinery, timber products, steel fabrication or similar.
  • Proven people management experience is essential, with the ability to lead, motivate, develop and manage production teams effectively.
  • Experience managing day-to-day production operations, workflow, resources and performance targets.
  • A confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to make decisions and resolve challenges.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A track record of improving production performance, efficiency and team accountability.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with a willingness to be actively involved on the production floor.

We would also welcome applications from experienced Production Supervisors or Manufacturing Team Leaders who have demonstrated strong leadership capability and are ready to progress into a broader management role.

What's on Offer?
