Job summary

Storm-Recruitment is working with a food manufacturing client in Dublin West seeking a Production Manager. You will oversee all production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality and HACCP standards.

We require 3-5 years in food manufacturing with production management experience, strong leadership, and a hands-on, flexible management style. The role offers early starts and close collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance to maximise uptime.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience within food manufacturing, with production management experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety systems.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Analytical and results-driven approach.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• Hands-on, flexible and adaptable management style.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet customer demand and targets.
• Lead, motivate and develop production supervisors and teams.
• Manage staffing, shift planning, recruitment and training.
• Monitor labour efficiency, productivity, yield, waste and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, food safety, quality and H&S standards.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformances, accidents and near misses.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Control raw materials, packaging, stock rotation and production waste.
• Liaise with Procurement, Planning, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular production reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and control costs.

Salary: EUR55000 - EUR60000 per annum

Production Manager Our client based in Co. Dublin is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, cost-effective production while meeting quality, food safety and customer requirements.

Salary: €45k - €60k DOE

Hours of work: 4.30am - 12pm (work to finish)
