Job summary

Freudenberg Group Ireland is seeking a production supervisor to lead and coordinate manufacturing activities on the floor. The role focuses on driving GMP-compliant processes, line clearance, and thorough production documentation while promoting a proactive, leadership-ready mindset among team members.

Experience in medical device or GMP environments is desirable, with a strong emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to leading or coordinating production activities.
• Confident and proactive approach, with the ability to take the lead, influence others and build credibility on the production floor.
• Experience within medical device, pharmaceutical or another GMP/regulated manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of GMP requirements, including line clearance, production documentation and following procedures.
• Previous supervisory experience would be beneficial but not essential – open to candidates ready to step into leadership.
• An Engineering, Science or other relevant technical qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make decisions and elevate issues when needed.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S or continuous improvement would be beneficial.
• Comfortable working an evening shift and taking responsibility for production activities during these hours.
• Motivated to develop and progress your career as our manufacturing operation continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production activities on the floor.

• Support development and progression of staff into leadership roles.
• Balance shift responsibilities and maintain safe, efficient operations.
