Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Ireland is seeking a production supervisor to lead evening shift operations within a GMP-regulated environment. You will influence teams on the production floor, ensure proper line clearance and documentation, and drive continuous improvement.

The role offers growth opportunities as Freudenberg continues to expand its manufacturing footprint in Connacht. Evening shift responsibilities require strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, preferably in a GMP/regulated environment.
• Ability to lead, influence and build credibility on the production floor.
• Supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Understanding of GMP requirements, line clearance and production documentation.
• Desire to step into leadership and develop in a growing operation.
• Experience with Lean, 5S or continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production activities on the evening shift.
• Ensure GMP compliance and accurate production documentation.
• Coach and develop production staff and escalate issues when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications arrow_right

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to leading or coordinating production activities.
• A confident and proactive approach, with the ability to take the lead, influence others and build credibility on the production floor.
• Experience within medical device, pharmaceutical or another GMP/regulated manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of GMP requirements, including line clearance, production documentation and following procedures.
• Previous supervisory experience would be beneficial but is not essential - we're equally interested in people who are ready to take the next step into leadership.
• An Engineering, Science or other relevant technical qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make decisions and escalte issues when needed.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S or continuous improvement would be beneficial.
• Comfortable working an evening shift and taking responsibility for production activities during these hours.
• Motivated to develop and progress your career as our manufacturing operation continues to grow.
