Job summary

Freudenberg Medical Ireland Ltd. invites professionals to join our medical device team in Carrick-on-Shannon.

The role emphasizes clean room manufacture, validations, and strict process controls in a regulated environment. Ideal candidates hold polymer science or mechanical engineering certification and have extrusion experience for medical tubing, including multi-lumen and co-extrusions, with tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device sector, including clean room manufacture, validations and process controls.
• Ideally certified in Polymer Science or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with extrusion of medical tubing (multi-lumen, co-extrusions, thin wall, tight tolerance).
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 QMSR is a plus.

• Experience and knowledge of medical device environment including Clean room manufacture, validations, process controls, etc.
• Ideally Certification in Polymer Science or Mechanical Engineering
• Ideally Experience in extrusion of medical tubing including multi-lumen, co-extrusions, thin wall tubing, tight tolerance tubing, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 QMSR requirements an advantage
