Job summary

Fruition Group Ireland seeks a Senior Product Owner in Dublin to lead agile delivery for a major payments program. You will own roadmaps, manage backlogs, write user stories, and work with cross-functional teams to drive value through API-enabled payment capabilities.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in a Product Owner role, strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and a professional PO certification. This contract runs for 6 months with potential extension and a daily rate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Product Owner.
• 2-4 years PO experience focused on Payments.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Professional Product Owner certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong leadership and Agile/Scrum skills.
• Outcome-focused with user story writing abilities.
• Collaborative with Scrum Master and delivery teams.
• Data-driven prioritisation under ambiguity.

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Product Owner to join their team

This will be a daily rate contract position, for an initial 6 months and with views to extend as they have a significant program of work on going across the business

The role is with a well known and leading Irish organization

Ideally you will have experience in Payments but a key areas is around Technical Project Delivery including good experience with API's

Responsibilities

• Define and mange delivery roadmaps, aligning with business goals and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various teams across product, engineering, strategy and others
• Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders using data-driven insights.
• Strong scrum experience with backlog management, user stories and sprint planning.
• Experience working on large business and technology programmes
• Deliver value tied to business outcomes, prioritize initiatives and communicate progress to release.
• Create and prioritize product backlog, collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead Sprint Reviews, motivate teams, manage budgets, and establish agile product ownership within the organization.

Payments Expertise:

Drive the development and optimisation of payment capabilities including:

• Real-time payments
• Cross-border payments

Experience required

• 5+ years’ experience in a Product Owner at a Senior level
