Kota is hiring a Product Lead to own a product area, setting vision and strategy while leading engineers who build it. The role focuses on Insurances initially, turning underwriting and compliance rules into quick, employee-friendly flows.

As the company grows, you’ll work across Insurances and Core/Finance, adapting to new countries and products with a high ownership mindset and minimal structure.

Qualificações

• You have product leadership experience at lead, staff or principal level.
• You are entrepreneurial, with prior start-up or engineering-to-product background.
• You have owned vision and strategy for a product area.
• You thrive with fluid scope and adapt quickly to new domains.
• You are AI fluent and use AI tools regularly in work.
• You collaborate across support, success and sales, not only with engineers.
• You maintain a high quality bar in product work.
• You communicate clearly and concisely, focused on value and outcomes.
• You have scale-up experience roughly Series A to D; additional seed experience is a plus.
• You can manage people or are ready to start.
• You have domain experience in fintech or insurtech, or HR tech/employee benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Own the vision and strategy for your area and decide what gets built.
• Lead and grow a group of product engineers, coaching them on scope and delivery.
• Shape and lead 6-week Shape Up cycles for new features and provider integrations.
• Simplify onboarding, plan setup, premium management and benefit workflows.
• Translate compliance and underwriting complexity into user flows.
• Collaborate across the business with support, success and sales.
• Shape future product areas as we expand into new markets.
• Ship fast with a high quality bar and uphold it.
