Job summary

Stelfox IT Recruitment partners with a new Fintech/Insurtech provider in Dublin to create an AI-first Insurance platform, modernising a legacy system with a fresh, agentic approach.

We seek a hands-on Head of Product to own key modules, define the strategy, and build a delivery team as the initiative scales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product leadership in Insurtech or core insurance platforms.
• Experience with Life and/or P&C insurance including underwriting, policy admin, or claims.
• Hands-on PM, writing requirements and working with engineering teams.

Job description

Stelfox is exclusively partnering with a newly formed Fintech/Insurtech provider in Dublin who are looking to create an AI-first Insurance platform as they explore the process of modernising a legacy platform by taking a completely new/fresh approach to recreating an AI / Agentic led version of their platform.

Note - this is a new initiative from greenfield up so we are looking for a hands-on Head of Product / Product leader who can own key modules personally and build the team around delivery as the scope grow.

As Head of Product, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, vision and roadmap for an integrated, AI-native, cloud-native, event-driven and highly configurable insurance technology platform supporting the end-to-end insurance value chain across Life, Health and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance classes.

Skills & Experience required:

• 10+ years product leadership experience in Insurtech, insurance software or core insurance platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Life and/or P&C insurance, ideally spanning underwriting, pricing, policy administration and claims.
• Proven experience building or scaling configurable, cloud-based, multi-client enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI-enabled products, event-driven architectures, APIs, data platforms and modern software delivery models.
• Ability to translate complex insurance requirements into reuseable, commercially viable product capabilities.
• Hands-on product management experience, including writing requirements and working day to day with engineering teams.
• Experience working with cross-functional product, engineering/technology and commercial teams.
• Strong commercial judgement, strategic thinking, customer orientation and executive stakeholder management.
