Job summary

JMC Aviation is recruiting a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to operate in Ireland at Rathcoole Aerodrome, County Cork. The role involves managing import/export requests, liaising with customs, and coordinating local distribution within a permanent, onsite, full-time schedule.

The successful candidate will handle stock control, ensure compliance with aviation documentation, and support the logistics team across European EMS operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and logistics within aviation is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel with good IT skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
• Right to Work in Ireland is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle import and export requests for the company and clients.
• Liaise with customs and shipping agencies for fast clearance.
• Prioritize shipments per the authorised requestor.
• Address AOG requests with top priority and urgency.
• Coordinate local distribution of imports and collection of exports.
• Receive, inspect, and store items per procedures.
• Check aircraft parts documentation against orders.
• Batch non-serialised parts and tag serialised parts.
• Maintain stock control and handle ESD items.
• Prepare shipments including packing of DGR items.
• Track and reconcile inventory in the system.
• Transport goods between bases as required.
• Prepare and maintain documents and records.

About The Role

On behalf of our client, an established aviation maintenance and support organisation headquartered in Malta, we are recruiting for a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to operate in Ireland as part of their European EMS Operations. Key Responsibilities

The Role:

• Handling of the company’s and clients’ import and export requests
• Liaising with customs authorities and shipping agencies for the quick release of shipments
• Prioritising shipments as per importance communicated by the authorised requestor
• Ensuring that AOG requests are addressed with top priority and urgency
• Coordinating the local distribution of imports to the end-receiver and local collection of exports from the senders from the company’s various facilities
• Receiving, unpacking, inspecting, marking and placing in store location as required in accordance with procedures
• Checking aircraft parts documentation against orders
• Batching of non-serialised parts
• Tagging of serialised parts
• Stock control
• ESD parts handling
• Preparation of items for shipment, including packing of DGR items
• Tracking and reconciliation of company inventory in the inventory management system
• Transport goods between our bases as required
• Prepare and maintain documents, files, records

Essential

Candidate Requirements

• Full Driving License
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and have a generally good IT aptitude
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Background in Aviation desirable
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Hold Right to Work
