Senior / Principal Civil Engineer – Renewables | Dublin, Cork or Carlow

I’m currently supporting a leading engineering consultancy in Ireland with the appointment of a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join its Sustainable Infrastructure team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Civil Engineer looking to take a leading role across major renewable-energy and infrastructure projects, including wind, solar and BESS.

You’ll be involved in multidisciplinary design leadership, civil infrastructure design, technical reports and tender documentation, while also mentoring engineers and working directly with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

We’re particularly interested in engineers with experience across roads, drainage, earthworks, site infrastructure, foundations, substations and wider civil infrastructure.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status
• 8+ years’ post-graduate experience for Senior level
• 12+ years’ experience for Principal level
• Strong Ireland and/or UK infrastructure design and delivery experience
• Multidisciplinary design-management experience
• Client and stakeholder-facing capability
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel when required

Experience within wind, solar, BESS, Design & Build, Owner’s Engineer or Independent Checking environments would be highly valuable, although strong wider infrastructure experience will also be considered.
