• 5 years general accounting practice experience.
• Experience in a Team Lead/Management position.
• Irish Accounting Practice experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Mentor a team of accountants and trainees, guiding their daily work and growth.
• Oversee workload, quality controls, and deadline delivery.
• Act as relationship manager for client portfolio, advising on VAT and tax.
• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Review VAT returns and Corporation Tax computations with planning advice.
• Oversee client audits from planning to partner review with compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and empower a team of accountants and trainees, guiding their day-to-day work and professional growth.
• Oversee team productivity, balance workload allocation, and enforce rigorous quality controls to consistently hit deadlines.
• Serve as the main relationship manager for an assigned client portfolio, delivering prompt, expert guidance on daily financial, VAT, and tax queries.
• Oversee and prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Review complex VAT returns, execute Corporation Tax computations, and manage Self-Assessment filings while delivering proactive tax planning advice.
• Over see a small client audits from planning through fieldwork and partner review, ensuring strict adherence to statutory and internal standards.
