Job summary

GPC Finance in South Dublin is seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager / Senior Accountant to join their friendly team. You will manage a varied SME client portfolio, lead audit engagements and oversee year-end accounting and compliance work.

The role covers statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT and tax compliance, and client advisory services, offering a broad and rewarding workload for a practice-trained professional.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience in a practice.
• Strong accounts preparation and audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients with accounting, compliance and business support.
• Lead and coordinate audit engagements for larger clients from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and statutory accounts, plus outsourced accounting support.
• Oversee VAT, Corporation Tax and Income Tax compliance and ensure deadlines are met.

• Manage a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, acting as a key point of contact and providing ongoing accounting, compliance, and business support.
• Lead and coordinate a number of audit assignments for larger clients, overseeing engagements from planning through to completion in line with professional standards.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and financial reports, including providing outsourced accounting support to a key client.
• Oversee a broad range of tax compliance work, including VAT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax returns, while ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining high-quality client service.
