Job summary

Cpl Group in Cork City seeks a Practice Accountant to manage a large client portfolio in a permanent, fully onsite role from Monday to Friday.

The candidate should be a fully or partially qualified accountant with 2–3 years of practice experience and proficient with MS Office and accounting software. Training support will be provided to junior staff as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA/ CIMA).
• 2 – 3 Years Practice Experience.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Accounting Packages.

• Preparation of summaries for sales, purchases, cheque payments and cash receipts.
• Reconciling banks, debtors and creditors.
• Preparing of audit file up to review stage.
• Prepare accounts to review stage.
• Preparation of draft accounts.
• Preparation of Income-tax, VAT, PAYE / PRSI, P35's, construction industry and corporation tax returns.
• Provide key support to trainees for their professional and technical development.
