Job summary

CAE Inc in Shannon, Ireland, is seeking a Powerplant Engineer to manage powerplants for clients, oversee engine phase in/out, monitor engine condition, and forecast maintenance needs. You will report to the Operations Manager within CAE's Engine Technical Support Services.

The role involves coordinating with OEMs, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting maintenance visits with MROs and asset owners. Strong collaboration and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or EASA Part 66 license.
• 2–3 years' experience in an airworthiness/CAMO or fleet management role in an airline or MRO environment.
• Understanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 regulation.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support with engine deliveries, redeliveries, Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance to CAE's Clients.
• Liaising with OEMs such as CFM, IAE, Pratt& Whitney, Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell on resolution of technical issues.
• Engine Health Monitoring, performance overview, and review/implementation of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Coordinate and monitor Engines & APUs maintenance visits with the MRO and asset Owners – Lessors, for technical/economic issues.
• Contribute to the client's Reliability review for powerplant and components.
